Application Overview

Participants in this online event will take part in reading and discussion that will encourage thinking about the challenges and possibilities inherent in inviting content area colleagues to participate in writing project work.

This event will be of most interest to site leaders who plan and facilitate the summer institute, secondary school professional development series, and/or continuity events for their site. Sites are encouraged to apply in teams of two, with a limit of two participants per site.

This event is open to the first 40 participants that apply who were not a part of last year's online event or the 2008 Expanding Our Offerings summer institute. Once the application review is complete, all approved applicants will be sent access instructions for the online forum Tapped In.

Application Questions

Please provide answers to the following:

  1. Name of site
  2. Name and contact information for the site director
  3. Name and contact information (email, phone number) for each participant
  4. A brief (50–100 words) statement from each participant that explains his or her interest in the event and what each hopes to learn through participating.

During the application submission process, you will be asked to either copy and paste your responses or attach them as a Word document.
