Continued Funding Application Deadline: January 8, 2010
To submit your continued funding application, go to: http://www.nwp.org/cs/public/print/projects/89
Each National Writing Project site must participate in an annual reporting and review process that supports the renewal of its federal funding. Continuing sites apply for renewal in January by submitting the Continued Funding Application (CFA).
This application includes a narrative report of the site's recent accomplishments and challenges and its plans for the year ahead. It also includes a budget request, core contact information for the site and its leadership, a summer institute schedule, and a map of the site's leadership structure.
The deadline both for submission of the electronic documents and for receipt of the complete hardcopy packets at the NWP office in Berkeley, California, is 5:00 p.m. Pacific Time on Friday, January 8, 2010. The online submission period is January 4–8, 2010.
1. Mail hard copies to the NWP office.
Each site must mail a hardcopy original of the application and budget (with original signatures) plus four copies to the NWP office in Berkeley:
Executive Director
National Writing Project
University of California
2105 Bancroft Way #1042
Berkeley, CA 94720-1042
2. Submit application documents online.
Electronic copies of selected application documents must be submitted during the online submission period: January 4–8, 2010. The requested budget is submitted in a separate online system: http://www.nwp.org/cs/public/print/doc/nwpsites/budget_system.html. Signature pages, donor and support letters, and other items available only as hard copies do not need to be uploaded.
Note: Hard copies and electronic versions must match exactly. Please do not submit electronic files until your site's host institution has officially approved and signed off on their content.
Listed below are the documents and format required for online submission. All documents can be found on the 2010 CFA homepage.
