Getting Oriented to the 2007 Annual Meeting

This orientation session will highlight strategies for making the most of your attendance, distinguishing between sessions that require registration and those that don’t, and identifying which sessions are more applicable to site development and which to classroom practice. Also, learn which sessions are technology related and which will help you find out more about NWP minigrants.

General Session: Connecting Writing, Learning, and Leadership

9:30am - 11:30am Marriott, 5th floor, Westside Ballroom
Join your colleagues at the NWP General Session on Friday morning. This gathering of writing project teachers, site leaders, educators, and special guests is the largest event of the annual meeting.

5:30pm - 7:00pm Crowne Plaza, Lobby, Times Square Ballroom
Unwind and catch up with colleagues at the end of a lively and information-packed day at the annual NWP Social. Enjoy the hors d’oeuvres and spirited conversations as you make plans for a night out in New York City. Arrive by 6:00 p.m. for a special celebration in honor of NWP Executive Director Richard Sterling.
