2009 NWP Spring Meeting Highlights

April 2–3, 2009

Washington, DC

The 2009 Spring Meeting was full of rich content and engaging conversations about improving the teaching of writing in the nation's schools. More than 400 teachers and site leaders, representing 43 states and the District of Columbia, attended the meeting, making this the largest NWP Spring Meeting ever!

To get a flavor of the meeting, watch the video of keynote speaker Jacqueline Jones Royster's speech, "Responsible Citizenship in a Global Environment," and view photos from the event.

Next year's Spring Meeting will take place on March 25–26, 2010.
