The NWP Annual Meeting provides an opportunity for teachers and site leaders from writing project sites around the country to gather for writing, thinking, and conversation.
The meeting includes interactive workshops, information sessions, and lively discussion. All Annual Meeting sessions are conducted by writing project directors, site leaders, and teacher-consultants.
Receptions, reunions, meetings, and other social events are also a vital part of the Annual Meeting.

NWP's Annual Meeting is held in conjunction with the NCTE Annual Convention 
. NCTE's convention will be held at Disney's Coronado Springs and Yacht and Beach Club Resorts. Disney's Contemporary Resort is NWP's headquarters hotel.

Meeting Overview
Wednesday
Orient yourself to the Annual Meeting by dropping by the NWP Welcome Room Wednesday evening.
Thursday
Three two-hour sessions will feature the work of programs, partnerships, and writing project sites. End your day at the Special Focus Network Social.
Friday
Friday features the morning General Session and afternoon breakout sessions.
Saturday
A special all-day strand of writing workshops will be conducted at the NCTE Annual Convention by writing project teacher-leaders.
