Join Your Colleagues at the 2010 Spring Meeting
Always an exciting time, the Spring Meeting gives writing project teachers and leaders an opportunity to share their classroom successes with members of Congress and each other. In 2009, more than 400 attendees—a record number for NWP—gathered in Washington, DC for this important event.
Schedule
- Wednesday, March 24—If you are arriving on Wednesday, please join us for an interactive planning session with other Spring Meeting participants from your state at the Hyatt Regency Washington on Capitol Hill. Pick up materials, get oriented, and mingle with colleagues. More ›
- Thursday, March 25—After a rousing morning kickoff, make your way to Capitol Hill and visit congressional offices to talk about the work of the writing project and the impact it has on teachers and students. The evening concludes with a convivial reception. More ›
- Friday, March 26—Gather for a keynote speech and roundtable discussions on the latest issues that writing project teachers face. More ›
