George P. Haley

Mr. Haley focuses on all aspects of commercial law, with emphasis on project finance, equipment leasing, personal property secured transactions, project development, and other transactions governed by the Uniform Commercial Code. He is the co-leader of the firm's Energy and Infrastructure Practice Team.
Mr. Haley has written and lectured extensively for the Practising Law Institute and California Continuing Education of the Bar, as well as for other organizations, on project finance, project development, equipment leasing, the Uniform Commercial Code, and other commercial law topics. In addition, Mr. Haley was a member of the faculty of the University of Shanghai's International Business Institute in Shanghai, China, where he lectured on international business law.
Mr. Haley earned a JD from Harvard Law School (magna cum laude), 1974. He has an MS in electrical engineering and computer sciences from the University of California at Berkeley (magna cum laude), 1971. Additionally, he has a BSE in electrical engineering and computer sciences from the University of Michigan (summa cum laude), 1970. In regard to his affiliations, he was admitted to practice in the State of California (former Chair, Uniform Commercial Code, Financial Institutions committees) and he is a member of the American Bar Association and the Bar Association of San Francisco.
Mr. Haley's biography is listed in Who's Who in America and in International Who's Who. He is also named in Best Lawyers in America and in the Chambers survey of the leading project finance lawyers in the world.
