Supporting the NWP

For fiscal year 2010, which begins October 1, 2010, the total federal appropriation for NWP is $25.65 million, an increase of $1.36 million from fiscal year 2009.

Reach Out and Write!

Please take a moment this summer to email your legislators. Let them know you appreciate their support for the Writing Project. Tell them something you did in your classroom this year or plan to do next year. Give them a glimpse of your summer institute or another Writing Project opportunity that is making a difference to your teaching.
