The NWP Spring Meeting in Washington, D.C., April 2-3, is your chance to educate Congress about the great work you do. STUDENTS INVITED TO CREATE VIDEOS FOR OBAMA ADMINISTRATION 末
NWP has partnered with the Pearson Foundation to launch Letters to the Next President: The Video Campaign, an extension of last fall's popular letter-writing campaign. The project encourages teen filmmakers to express their views by creating digital videos about issues they want the new administration to address. DEADLINE: MARCH 27

The NWP Teacher Inquiry Communities Network is hosting Inside Inquiry, a summer institute, July 29-August 1, to support writing project sites in developing and sustaining inquiry communities. Site directors are invited to apply to send pairs of teacher-leaders to this four-day event at the Babson Conference Center in Wellesley, Massachusetts. DEADLINE: MARCH 2.
