Research Archives

The NWP Research Results Archive includes more than 150 research studies examining the effects and impact of NWP programming.

These studies may be useful tools for site leaders interested in researching the effects of their programs, teachers investigating their classroom practice and its effects, facilitators of inquiry groups, and independent researchers studying teacher professional development.

The National Writing Project has organized these studies in a searchable database to help those conducting research in a variety of education settings. Interested researchers should submit queries containing descriptive criteria that can be used to find all available materials that meet the researcher's interests and needs.

Searchable descriptive elements include characteristics such as setting of the research, subjects studied, types of data analyzed, focus of the research, and outcomes examined.
