Special NWP Annual Meeting Teachers Teaching Teachers Webcast
November 12, 2008
Host site: New York City Writing Project
In connection with the NWP Annual Meeting, you are invited to listen and interact with teachers across the globe during a special Teachers Teaching Teachers webcast sponsored by the Technology Initiative. There will also be a follow-up show after the Annual Meeting on December 3.
This event, cohosted by the New York City Writing Project and the NWP Technology Liaisons Network, will feature
- Seth Mitchell from the Maine Writing Project
- Susan Hunt-Barron and Rebecca Kaminski from the Upstate Writing Project (SC)
- Felicia George from the New York City Writing Project
- Laura Stokes from Inverness Research Associates.
As the facilitators of an NWP Annual Meeting session titled Writing in the Digital Age, these writing project teachers and colleague will share stories about the exploration of writing and the core literacies of the digital age. This group will also share stories about supporting their fellow teachers to further their development in teaching writing in a digital environment.
Join us to tell a story from your classroom about how you teach digital writing and who helps you think about this work.
