This workshop will utilize successful models from writing project sites to examine the nuts and bolts of developing and sustaining a teacher inquiry community. Participants will choose one of four roundtables focused on the following questions: 1) What kinds of meeting structures and agendas support communities as they develop and continue over time? 2) How do sites support teachers as they develop questions about critical issues of teaching and learning? 3) How do communities offer response and assist teachers as they collect and examine data? and 4) How do sites support teachers as they go public with their work, including sharing at schools and conferences and publishing their writing?
