Learn how the 2011 Writing Framework for the National Assessment of Educational Progress reflects research, curriculum, and pedagogy. The presenters will describe the development of the 2011 NAEP Writing Assessment, including the role of NWP, NCTE, and other stakeholders. Attendees will learn about significant issues embedded in the 2011 NAEP Writing Assessment and discuss the implications of this national writing assessment on classroom practices, curriculum, and local/state assessments.
