How can we design inservice that is grounded in NWP principles and addresses what schools and teachers need? This workshop spotlights models of inservice programs, detailing from start to finish the ways leaders of diverse writing project sites survey needs, develop programs and build site capacity to staff them, meet challenges, and evaluate their programs’ effectiveness. Consider sending a team from your site to begin plans based on a new inservice idea. Inservice coordinators and teacher-leaders seeking fresh and practical ideas for developing inservice at their site should attend this workshop.
