A26 In the Beginning: Founding Directors Tell the NWP Story

We invite founding directors and teacher-leaders, particularly those who founded sites prior to NWP federal funding, to add your voices to this session. We invite anyone interested in our collective history to attend, listen, and ask questions. When did you "get" the model? When did you realize you were part of a much larger enterprise? What was the most difficult part of founding your site? What was the most exciting? What made you so dedicated that you shifted your whole career? Come help us begin to capture and recount the history of the NWP as a reform movement.

When: Friday, 1:00pm - 3:00pm
Where: Crowne Plaza Times Square Hotel, 15th floor, Room 1505
