Site Development Workshops

From Day-to-Day Decisions to Longer-Term Achievements: The Art and Craft of Inservice

From identifying the need to designing and presenting the program, this workshop demonstrates how inservice work can function in ways that increase a site’s complexity, diversity, and scale as it builds the capacity that broadens its impact on schools in its service area. We will look at how to design an engaging and effective workshop presentation, identifying the elements that over time can lead to deeper relationships with—and across—the education community. Site directors, inservice coordinators, and teacher-consultants interested in thinking deeply about inservice work as central to the site's mission should attend.
