This facilitated discussion explores how to make NWP work visible and valuable as part of a director’s university career path, including making it count toward tenure and promotion. We’ll present a case study of one director who used NWP work to advantage over many years, and we’ll hear from site directors who have used their NWP work to help shape their careers and distinguish them as valuable members of their academic community. This session will interest site directors and leaders faced with tenure and promotion choices and/or interested in the topic of making NWP work important within the university context.
