A3 Engaging Special Populations Through Technology

Leaders from the Northern California Writing Project will describe and demonstrate ways that technology can be used to help secondary special education students compose multimodal compositions for a variety of audiences and purposes. This interactive workshop will explore ways to engage students in their learning, a challenge in any classroom but posing particular difficulties in special education contexts. Explore how teachers can create learning environments where students can write and become informed, purposeful authors writing for real audiences.
