This workshop explores the practices of three different writing project sites as their leaders share approaches to their invitational summer institutes. Since every National Writing Project site offers an invitational summer institute in which teachers examine and lead demonstrations of their classroom practices, conduct and read research, and write extensively, the session will benefit directors, co-directors, and teacher-leaders involved in their sites’ invitational summer institutes.
