Participants in this workshop will explore an approach to inservice programs that has successfully engaged teachers from a variety of disciplines. Facilitators describe the design of programs that have worked and then engage participants in designing "Writing in the Disciplines" professional development for their local site. The examples, which come from high school and community college settings, are adaptable for other grade levels.
