A12 Race and Diversity in Rural Places
Beginning conversations about diversity in rural places can be both a challenge and an opportunity for writing project sites. This session is an outgrowth of two Rural Sites Network minigrants that created continuity programs focused on the role of race and learning in rural schools. Participants will examine the thinking behind the minigrant work, engage in conversations about race and learning in rural schools, and have an opportunity to share resources that might support similar conversations at their sites.
