QuestionsA7 Persisting Through Barriers: African American Males and Learning
This interactive workshop will invite participants to review ongoing research into middle school and community college African American males that focuses on their self-reporting of barriers they face in educational settings. Attendees will also have an opportunity to make connections about the race and gender barriers that students in their own classrooms may face.
