After a brief discussion of the nature of literacy in the twenty-first century, teacher-consultants and technology liaisons from three sites will share what they are discovering about writing in digital environments through work in their classrooms, at their sites, and as part of the Technology Liaisons Network and/or the Technology Initiative. This work includes: developing an online classroom community through the use of wikis; building site capacity in technology professional development through mentoring; and developing teacher leadership in technology.
