A20 Teaching ELL Writers in a Digital Age

In this session you will sample new technologies (digital storytelling, blogging, podcasting, and more) and learn how these technologies can be used to engage your English language learners in deeper language acquisition and extend their opportunities to practice writing. Two perspectives will be included: the embedding of student-generated digital writing in the curriculum and the use of new digital media for more effective instruction of ELL students. Attendees will be invited to participate in the group creation of one digital media product.
