Drawing on an open institute and a digital publication, this session will explore how continuity programs can utilize the Internet as a powerful resource. Technology allows widely dispersed teachers in a vast state such as Alaska to come together online. It’s also an economical and exciting way to distribute the writing, artwork, sound recordings, and videos of the Bay Area Writing Project through its online publication “Digital Paper.” We will focus on the in-progress monographs that describe the learnings of two sites using technology to connect with teacher-consultants in very different ways and invite discussions about utilizing technology at attendees’ sites.
