B11 Podcasting for Literacy

In this digital age, students are faced with a wide array of ways to demonstrate their knowledge, and podcasting is a fun, creative, and simple way for them to record and share literary content. Participants in this workshop will learn how four teachers from various writing project sites have used podcasting in the classroom and will explore podcasting applications for publishing student work, enhancing ELL classrooms, and promoting mulitmodal literacy. Attendees will also have an opportunity to create a podcast.
