Digital Storytelling Across Content Areas and for Every Student

Digital storytelling has many benefits in the classroom but is often reserved for older and/or more advanced students. This session will examine the possibilities and power of digital storytelling in unlikely environments such as primary classrooms, classes of at-risk students, and content area classrooms. Multiple student videos of different types will be shared, along with the writing processes that these projects involved. Participants will also have the opportunity to collaborate with peers and develop project ideas to take back to their classrooms.

When: Thursday, 10:45am - 12:00pm
