This interactive session will focus on a project investigating authentic and collaborative writing through the use of wikis by Year 7 ESL learners in Hong Kong. The facilitator will describe the process one group of learners went through as they used wikis as a collaborative writing platform. Participants will have an opportunity to read students’ intermediate and final drafts, view snapshots of the amount and the types of writing produced at each stage, and discuss how wikis might support writing.
