Carrie Usui
UCLA Writing Project
Carrie Usui supports partnership work with the UCLA Writing Project and Los Angeles public schools through her position as Assistant Director of the UCLA Center X/Local District 3 Partnership. Formerly an 8th grade English teacher and English Language Arts curriculum specialist, Carrie currently works with literacy coaches in promoting student achievement and school leadership in schools. In addition, Carrie is pursuing a Master of Arts degree in Asian American Studies at UCLA with a focus in creative writing.
