Montana Writing Project
Laurie Smith is a teacher-consultant at the Montana Writing Project. She went through the NWP Summer Institute in 2002, and was co-director of the Montana Writing Project for one year. Laurie served on the English Language Learners Network Leadership Team for four years. She is also an Indian Education for All and tribal sovereignty advocate. Laurie is an enrolled Sicangu Lakota tribal member.
