NWP program and network leadership team meetings are held throughout the day on Saturday. The National Council of Teachers of English (NCTE) Annual Convention will include a strand of sessions, Encourage Writing, led by NWP presenters. Find out more below.
Saturday Overview
» NWP Writing Strand at NCTE Convention
The NWP Annual Meeting is held in conjunction with the NCTE Annual Convention, which includes a writing strand sponsored by the NWP. The strand of writing workshops will be held at the Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention Center in Hermitage A on the Magnolia Mezzanine (level M). We encourage you to register for the NCTE Convention and attend Saturday’s NWP Writing Strand.

Be sure to stop by the Ryman Exhibit Hall at the Opryland Convention Center and visit the NWP exhibit booth at this year’s NCTE Convention. NWP staff and local teacher-consultants will be on hand to provide information about writing project programs. The booth will also feature a game, publications, and materials from NWP and local writing project sites.
Please note: The booth will also be open on Sunday from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
