There were times where words would flow out effortlessly to create paragraphs of thought. Other times all I could muster was a sentence or two.

But the act of writing what I thought allowed me to take a step back and honestly look at my thinking. I kept an active log of our readings. I reflected on how they informed my teaching and my own learning. My ability to add to the discussions we had about our books was greatly enhanced.
