Publication: WAGM-TV 8
Date: July 16, 2010

Summary: Working with the University of Maine Writing Project, Wabanaki teachers and students got busy writing during a summer class, exploring culture and identity along the way.

Excerpt from Transcript

In some of the atmospheres in school, they're forced and railroaded into writing certain things, in certain ways, and their opinions are often crushed. Out here they realize they can actually be themselves, and they can actually be rewarded for who they are.
