New York Teacher at the Center of Teaching in the Digital Age
Date: August 27, 2010
Summary: Joel Malley, a teacher-consultant with the Western New York Writing Project, was profiled for his teaching methods using digital media in Teachers Are the Center of Education: Writing, Learning and Leading in the Digital Age.
Excerpt from Article

"You see your students have an awareness of an audience and you see their stories change over the course of a year," said Malley. "They consider how their audience will react and who their audience is. Their peers are also commenting on the social networks, which makes it a great avenue for tossing around ideas and being connected and aware of everything."
