During the workshop, participants will have the freedom to write a letter, submit a spoken word clip, an information graphic or a video, Warren said.

'We want them to be creative about bringing their voice to the issues,' she said. 'There is an element of personal empowerment. Teens often don't realize that they can have a platform. Getting your message delivered is the first step in putting yourself out there."
