NWP Radio—The Graide Network

March 2, 2017

The Graide Network connects K-12 teachers with remote, on-demand teaching assistants to grade and provide thorough feedback on student work online. "Graiders" are highly qualified, vetted undergraduate and graduate students from colleges across the country who are aspiring teachers. They are trained to provide effective feedback and are passionate about helping students and teachers. Their support unlocks the tremendous power of feedback to engage students, improve learning outcomes, and put data at educators' fingertips like never before.

Today we'll be talking about the importance of effective feedback and how teachers across the country are using The Graide Network as a powerful instructional tool. We'll also be discussing feedback best practices and what effective feedback really looks like. And finally, with the increased focus on enhancing teacher preparation programs, we'll explore the value of experiential learning for pre-service teachers and virtual fieldwork opportunities.
