Students are needed to assist and support the administrative functions of the National Writing Project. Students will work across units and will perform a variety of functions, including data entry, copy editing, website support, photocopying/scanning, materials production, database management, basic image editing, shipping, processing mail, answering phones, media archiving, and other administrative and clerical work as assigned.


Excellent written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and organizational skills required. 

Must be able to multi-task and work independently in a self-directed manner. 

Proficiency with Microsoft Word/Excel and Google Apps required.

Experience with Photoshop, Illustrator, or other graphic design programs a plus.

Basic knowledge of HTML a plus.

This is a part-time position at a great place to gain real-world work experience in a professional and supportive environment. Hours can be arranged around class scheduling, but a minimum of 10 hours per week is required. The ability to work in shifts of three hours or more at a time is preferred. This student position is not eligible for benefits, and is renewed on a semester by semester basis.
