Since offering its first invitational institute in 2014, the Manitoba Writing Project (MBWP) at the University of Manitoba has created opportunities for teachers across Manitoba to become more confident writers and better teachers of writing. The work of the MBWP has included a research study, institutes, workshops, an ongoing practitioner inquiry group called Writing Grounds, a website, and conference presentations.
