For the 22nd anniversary commemoration of the 9/11 terrorist attacks at the Flight 93 National Memorial, Friends of Flight 93 launched a new educational initiative, the "Teach to Remember 9/11" project, a partnership with the National Park Service. "Teach to Remember 9/11" aims to engage tens of thousands of students globally in learning about the events of September 11, 2001. The project provides resources for educators and students to reflect on the lessons from Flight 93 and the bravery of its passengers, and crew and includes a companion youth publishing site powered by the National Writing Project.
