Eleven teachers from Northwest Arkansas schools participated in the Northwest Arkansas Writing Project's "Day of Writing" at George Washington Carver National Monument. Led by Seth French, the event included a guided tour, exploration of Carver's archives, and insightful discussions about teaching. The teachers left inspired to empower their students as writers, emphasizing growth mindset, diversity, and the value of writing as a process.
