SEED Teacher Leadership Development Grant

The 2014-2016 SEED Teacher Leadership Development funding stream supports eligible Writing Project sites in implementing a two-year plan* for investing in teacher leadership programming and opportunities for 20 or more new or experienced teacher leaders. The funding can be used over a two year period of performance from May 1, 2014–August 31, 2016. Sites will request a grant for $20,000 with the first $10,000 payment available in May 2014, and the second $10,000 payment available in May 2015, contingent upon continued funding from the Department of Education for the second year of NWP's funding. There is sufficient funding for each continuing Writing Project site to receive a $20,000 grant. To learn about other SEED grant opportunities, visit the Site Grant Opportunities page. For the full proposal information for this funding stream, download the 2014-16 NWP SEED Teacher Leadership Development RFP (PDF) below; download the Proposal Narrative Template (MS Word) to begin writing your proposal.
